Wandering Foot Quilting Guild had a stroke of luck at the 2024 “Road To California” quilting convention in Ontario, winning the annual exhibition lottery. Their beautiful quilts adorned the convention center atrium, delighting visitors with their creativity and skill. It was a wonderful opportunity for the guild to share their passion with others in the quilting community.
Community Outreach
Over the past few years, our donations have made a meaningful difference. In 2023, we were grateful to donate 1,025 items to the Los Angeles County/USC General Hospital, including quilts, caps, bibs, sweaters, and toiletries for the maternity unit, along with lap quilts and personalized drawstring bags for patients. Through our humble fundraising efforts, we were able to raise over $2,000, earmarked for purchasing clothes and pajamas to support newborns at the maternity unit.
