The challenge is coming! I am really excited to see what your all have done with your two red fabrics. It was indeed challenging since the two fabrics were of different styles, values, and intensity. One had definite yellow undertones and the other had definite blue undertones. It is the first challenge in which I’ve participated, and I had fun creating two very different quilts. I can’t wait to see everyone’s efforts.
We will also be hosting Cathe HagermanBeizer from the Quilters by the Sea Guild. She will be displaying and selling chances on their opportunity quilt. I haven’t seen it yet but I bet it is a beauty.
On a personal note, my new knee continues to heal. Stairs continue to be a challenge but walking seems to work well now and does rising from chairs. I think it finally hurts less than it did before the surgery.
